DELIVERY

We are based in Brussels, Belgium.

Packages are shipped mainly to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.

If you want us to ship to other different countries, which are not listed above, please email us on admin@medifungi.eu with your request, giving us your full address and which products you are interested in.

For non-tracked packages, the goods will be sent via the Belgian National Post, bpost.be. Each shipment will receive a reference number, but this reference number does NOT mean that the shipment is being tracked.

For tracked packages, we again ship via bpost.be and a valid tracking number is given, but other options can be made available mainly via DPD or UPS. Please contact us if you need these services. Be prepared that shipping costs can double for tracked packages.

The buyer pays the shipping costs for the ordered package and the corresponding price information is displayed next to the shipping method during ordering.

For packages destined within Belgium generally arrive at the destination specified by the buyer within 3 to 7 working days from the package dispatch date.

For packages destined outside Belgium, but within the EU and EEA countries, delivery can take anything between 6 to 30 calendar days from the package dispatch date.

For packages destined to non-EU and/or non-EEA Countries: Shipment times vary considerably, that we cannot quote any appropriate shipment times, and so, it is totally at the sole risk of the buyer. Medifungi.eu does not take any responsibility what so ever for these type of shipments.

TRACKING & REFUNDS

For peace of mind, we highly recommend that you include the tracking option in your shipping as it gives an ongoing update on your package. You can also check for yourself when the package has been actually sent.

You can track your package via 17track.net from our website, here.

Although we always thrive to be at your service, if you choose NOT to take the tracking option, then we also cannot help you to follow the package either, as this is beyond our control and services.

No requests for refunds will be accepted for packages without tracking

In any case, refund requests can only be made after the 30 calendar day rule from the package dispatch date as per EU Shipping Rules

DELAYS

Medifungi.eu is not responsible for delays in the delivery of packages, when the package have been already handed over, on time, to the logistics partners.  Such delays in delivery is due to circumstances that medifungi.eu could not influence or foresee.

Medifungi.eu is not responsible for packages damaged or lost by the logistics partners.
Any claims for damages will be compensated solely in accordance with the terms of compensation/assurances of the logistics partner, if any exist.

Medifungi.eu does not handle or buy any package insurances, on behalf of its clients.

RETURNS

As we mostly deal in highly perishable products with expiry dates, then, we cannot accept returns on such products.

Alternatively, if the product is non-perishable and has no expiry date, and you have found issues with its final resulting quality, we would be glad to be of additional service and assist you. So, please feel free to contact us.

OPERATIONAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR GRAIN CULTURES

As most of our products are dealing with live cultures, our operations depend on the life cycle of such cultures.

To bring the best quality out of our products, an allowance of some days between ordering and dispatching your order is necessary, to ensure that the product meets our internal controls and be ready for dispatch. This is especially important for grain cultures.

This allowance depends heavily on the mushroom strain and species in question. For example, for the Grey Oyster mushroom, it is only about 5 days, but for the Shiitake it can take 20 days. Other rarer species can take even longer.

Also, again for the grain cultures, we send them purposely not fully colonized, knowing that they develop and grow more in their packages during shipping. We will give you indications of this in our shipment, and if you see that the grains are not yet fully colonized, what would be needed is to place them at room temperature, in a dark, dry place to become fully colonized for some more days, before use. 

SHUTDOWNS

We have shutdowns during certain periods of the year. These are namely as follows, though they can change without notice:

  • A week during Easter
  • About 3 to 4 weeks in August
  • All national public holidays in Belgium
  • From 24th December to the first Sunday of January (included)

We display and warn clients when a shutdown is coming, from a week before, clearly on our website. During shutdown we still accept orders online but such orders can only be honored when we return from shutdown.
