Laminar Flow Hood for Home Use - Get more professional and accurate when handling mycelium products

With our partners, we have developed a laminar flow hood especially designed for the home hobby mycelium producer and mycologist in mind. We use it extensively ourselves.

Instead of using these primitive plastic containers for your inoculating activities - which are very cumbersome and prone to accidents, you can start using this laminar flow hood, giving you enough space and safety to eliminate most risks (if not all risks) of contaminations. It also is very reasonably priced, saving you time from redoing your precious yet sensitive mycological work, easily regaining the investment made.

This flow hood contains three basic and welcome controls - which many other flow hoods do not provide. The first is an air speed control switch, which you can adjust according to the task at hand. Another control is an LED light switch which throws bright white light on your working area. Finally, it is convenient to have a simple power switch as well.

It also comes at a reasonable size, to put away in a corner, without taking too much space, but also spacious enough to be able to work comfortably. Some laminar flow hoods are so small, that it makes them difficult to use, especially whilst mixing, pouring, injecting and sealing.

At 1,4Kg in total weight, it is also quite portable and easy to carry.

CLEAN AIR FLOW

It has a dual fan configuration and a high-efficiency industry standard HEPA H13 filter which captures 99.95% of particles which are larger than 0.3 microns.

Its fans are also smartly placed at the top and not at the bottom back of the unit. This is an important feature, as dust tends to accumulate at the back of the unit, whilst from the top side, the air entering the unit is far cleaner.

Every unit is agar-tested to ensure it delivers a consistently sterile work zone for your valuable cultures and general mycological work.
