Instead of using these primitive plastic containers for your inoculating activities - which are very cumbersome and prone to accidents, you can start using this laminar flow cabinet for home use, giving you enough space and safety to reduce contamination risks during sensitive mycological work. It is also very reasonably priced, saving you time from redoing your precious work and helping you regain the investment made.

This mushroom laminar flow hood contains three basic and welcome controls - which many other flow hoods do not provide. The first is an air speed control switch, which you can adjust according to the task at hand. Another control is an Internal UV LED light switch which throws bright light on your working area. Finally, it is convenient to have a simple power switch as well.

Normally having a clean room is best, but a remote corner in a normal room is also fine.

It also comes at a reasonable size, to put away in a corner, without taking too much space, but also spacious enough to be able to work comfortably and ensure to protect samples from contamination giving high-efficiency particulate air. Some laminar flow hoods are so small that they make it difficult to use them, especially whilst mixing, pouring, injecting and sealing. 

At 1.4 kg in total weight, it is also quite portable and easy to carry.

CLEAN AIR FLOW

It has a dual fan configuration and a high-efficiency industry standard HEPA H13 filter which captures 99.95% of particles larger than 0.3 microns.

Its fans are also smartly placed at the top and not at the bottom back of the unit. This is an important feature, as dust tends to accumulate at the back of the unit, while from the top side, the air entering the unit is far cleaner. Airflow speed can be controlled from one of the levers.

This setup helps create a cleaner work surface and supports a positive pressure laminar air flow environment for mushroom cultivation, liquid cultures, and other home laboratory tasks.
