Why This Hardwood Mushroom Substrate Supports Strong Mushroom Growth

A special formula combining oak sawdust, straw, wheat bran, and some lime that has produced the best results in growth output in many varieties of hardwood-loving mushroom strains. The product comes fully sterilized and ready for inoculation.

Please note that once the substrate is inoculated, you will have to wait some weeks, depending on the type of mushroom spawn for full colonization. After full colonization, the mushroom block can be fruited. This is all explained in the instructions provided.

1.6 Kg - This bag is the minimum to properly fruit a mushroom strain, but it may be too small to give enough yield, to be able to make enough food. 

This product is a fully sterilized mushroom substrate, which can accommodate a number of mushroom species to be able to see the growing process of various mushroom strains:

Grey Oyster
King Oyster
Pink Oyster
Blue Oyster
Golden Oyster
Phoenix Oyster
Lion's Mane
Shiitake

Ideally the product should be used immediately after delivery, otherwise keep it stored in the fridge at 4° Celsius for a maximum of 2 weeks and it will still be viable. It is good for both grain-to grain inoculation and liquid culture inoculation. Instructions will be provided within the package. Once the bag is opened, the sterilization is compromised and so inoculation must be made immediately. Preferably open in front of a flow hood to avoid contamination.
