Oak Sawdust/Wheat Bran Substrate - Fully Sterlised - Ready for innoculation

A special formula combining oak sawdust, straw, wheat bran, and some lime that has produced the best results in growth output in many varieties of hardwood-loving mushroom strains. The product comes fully sterilised and ready for inoculation.

Please note that once the substrate is inoculated, you will have to wait some weeks, depending on the type of mushroom spawn for full colonization. After full colonization, the mushroom block can be fruited. This is all explained in the instructions provided.

This product comes in four variations. Please choose the appropriate weight carefully, according to your needs, as follows:

1.7 Kg - This bag option is the minimum to properly fruit a mushroom strain, but it may be too small to give enough yield, to be able to make enough food. 

3.0 Kg - A larger option to the 1.7Kg

This product is a fully sterilized mushroom substrate, which can accommodate a number of mushroom species to be able to see the growing process of various mushroom strains:

Grey Oyster
King Oyster
Pink Oyster
Blue Oyster
Golden Oyster
Phoenix Oyster
Lion's Mane
Shiitake

Ideally the product should be used immediately after delivery, otherwise keep it stored in the fridge at 4° Celsius for a maximum of 2 weeks and it will still be viable. It is good for both grain-to grain innoculation and liquid culture innoculation. Instructions will be provided within the package. Once the bag is opened, the sterilisation is compromised and so innoculation must be made immediately. Prefarably open in front of a flowhood to avoid contamination.


PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PACKAGE DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY MUSHROOM STRAINS. WE CAN PROVIDE MANY MUSHROOM STRAINS AND SPAWN.

For peace of mind, we highly recommend that you include the tracking option in your shipping as it gives an ongoing update on your package. You can also check for yourself when the package has been actually sent. Although we always trive to be at your service, if you choose NOT to take the tracking option, then we cannot guarantee that the package arrives, as this is beyond our control and services. No requests for refunds will be accepted for packages without tracking.

As this is a highly perishable product, we cannot accept returns, but we still would like to ensure that you are left satisfied with our service.
