Syringes are the backbone of any laboratory work and are especially required for producing mycelium cultures, safely and properly.

Of major importance is their quality, storage capacities and that they come fully sterlized with a LUER lock at the bottom. If the syringe is going to be used and its contents applied immediately to the designated host, then a luer lock is not really needed, but if the syringe contents need to be stored, even for some minutes, a plastic luer lock cap should be applied to preserve the contents, avoiding contamination.

For mycological purposes, the syringes we sell are perfect. They come with a 18G needle (pink) and for single use only. Once used it has to be disposed of properly.

We have two sizes available. The 10ml and the 20ml capacities. These two sizes are enough for most mycological laboratory work.
